No. 3 Firehawks Host Wildcats

Pulaski, Tenn. – The # 3 University of Tennessee Southern women's soccer team will face Mid-South Conference arch rival Bethel University at Grissom Pitch Saturday at 2 p.m. CT. 

The Firehawks (7-0, 3-0 MSC) are entering the match after dominating Freed-Hardeman University 14-0 on Wednesday evening. Leading the Firehawks in goals scored this season is reigning MSC Offensive Player of the Week Adisa Amang and Keito Ido with 12 each. Amang also leads the NAIA in assists with 13. Goalkeeper Gabby Kennedy has recorded 13 saves this season.

Bethel University (3-4, 1-2 MSC) enters the contest on the heels of an overtime loss to Cumberland 2-1. Ashari Bowen and Ainhoa Chirivella lead the Wildcats with three goals each. Keeper Shanay Ricketts has recorded 40 saves on the season.

This will be the 27th meeting in the series, and UTS holds the advantage 25-0-1.
