Firehawks Finish Strong in MSC Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The University of Tennessee Southern women's cross country squad finished 10th in the Mid-South Championships on Friday.

Cumberlands paced all teams with 47 points and finished in a time of 1:39:28, while Andrea de La Rosa, from Bethel, captured the top podium spot with an 18:56 marker.

Olivia Barksdale led the Firehawk effort earning a 38th-place finish in 21:32. UTS ended the race in 1:58:22 and with 277 points.

The rest of the Tennessee Southern scorers finished taking places at 75, 84, 86, and 94. Lydia Molina landed a time of 22:56, while Jordan Greene ran at 24:08. Brianna Pearson crossed the line at 24:14, with Cierra Arnold just 76 seconds behind at 25:30.
