Firehawks Finish Second
MIDDLETON, Ga. – The University of Tennessee Southern women's cross country squad cemented the program's best team finish with a runner-up finish in the Bobcat Invitational today hosted by Georgia College.
Georgia College paced all teams with 23 points and finished in a time of 1:44:51, while Anna Agi captured the top podium spot with a 19:50 marker.
Freshman Olivia Barksdale led the Firehawk effort earning a third-place finish in 20:24. UTS ended the race in 1:53:28 and with 56 points. Barksdale's time ranked third in program history.
The rest of the Tennessee Southern scorers finished taking places eight, 18, 19, and 26. Freshman Cierra Arnold landed a time of 21:30, while freshman Lydia Molina ran at 23:19. Sophomore Jordan Greene crossed the line at 23:38, with junior Brianna Pearson just 58 seconds behind at 24:36.
