Firehawks Finish Fourth in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Tennessee Southern women's cross country squad battled some tough NCAA DII teams finishing fourth in the Argonaut Invitational today held on the campus of the University of West Florida.

Ouachita Baptist paced all teams with 16 points and finished in a time of 1:41:43, while Taylor Koeth captured the top podium spot with a 19:54 marker.

Freshman Olivia Barksdale led the Firehawk effort earning a 28th-place finish in 22:09. UTS ended the race in 2:05:02 and with 117 points.

The rest of the Tennessee Southern scorers finished taking places 50, 53, 57, and 60. Freshman Lydia Molina landed a time of 24:47, while junior Brianna Pearson ran at 25:34. Sophomore Jordan Greene crossed the line at 26:08, with freshman Cierra Arnold just thirteen seconds behind at 26:21.
