PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern volleyball team got back in the win column defeating Stillman in straight sets on Saturday.
UT Southern (9-7, 2-3) dominated the first set with the help of six service aces. Stillman (0-11, 0-5) fought hard in the second set, but the Firehawks would hold on to take the two-set advantage. Again in the final set, UT Southern would take a large lead and control the rest of the match for the win.
Morgan Avrit led with 14 kills. Sophia Ortega added 10 kills. Laura Howell gathered 25 assists. Hailey Walker picked up 11 digs.

UT Southern will travel to Montgomery, Ala. to battle Faulkner on Friday, September 29th. The first serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
