Semifinal Saturday Plagued by Unfavorable Weather

Semifinal Saturday Plagued by Unfavorable Weather

FOLEY, Ala. – The NAIA Women's Soccer Championship semifinal Saturday has been held captive by unfavorable weather this morning. The early morning rains have delayed the start of today's pair of matches. Originally, (12) UT Southern and (1) William Carey was scheduled to start things off today at 1 p.m., and (3) Cumberlands and (2) Spring Arbor would be the night cap at 4 p.m. In efforts to get both matches in today, tentatively the matches will begin at 5 p.m. today.

Due to technical difficulties with Presto's  live stats capabilities for the quarterfinal round, both the semifinals and national championship game will be streamed live free of charge.

During this schedule update, the NAIA has released that both semifinal matches will be moved to Monday, December 4th, and the national championship game has been pushed back to Tuesday, December 5th.
