Watari Nets Three, No. 7 Firehawks Terminate Tigers

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The #7 University of Tennessee Southern women's soccer team scored a pair in each half in a 4-nil victory over Georgetown on Wednesday, October 19.

UTS would get on the board twice in the first five minutes. Estelle Badoedana Ekada would net her 20th goal of the year finishing a Jessica Glassman pass. 35 seconds later, Yuki Watari would lift the Firehawks to a 2-nil lead. UTS would lead in shots 9-2.

In the second half, Watari would add a pair to pad the Firehawk lead. In the 54th minute, Watari would finish a Suzuho Yamasaki pass. Later in the half, Watari would score her 15th of the year on an Ekada helper. The Firehawks would outshoot the Tigers 19-7 and would lead shots-on-goal 9-3.

Layken Stockstill logged the win. She faced three shots in the clean sheet effort.

NUMBERS GAME
