Ido Wins MSC POW Honor

Bowling Green, Ky. – Tennessee Southern's Keito Ido and Cumberlands' (Ky.) Laura Vogt were voted the Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Players of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

MSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Keito Ido – Tennessee Southern – Fr. – Forward – Tokyo, Japan

§  Ido posted four goals, all in the second half, and handed out two assists in a victory over Shawnee State in the Mid-South Conference Championships

§  She found the back of the net in the 47th, 52nd, 57th and 60th minutes

§  The freshman assisted on goals in the 47th and 49th minutes as well

§  Ido leads the nation in goals (30) and points (71) this season

§  Ido recorded her MSC second player of the week honor this season and second of her career

MSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Laura Vogt – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Fr. – Goalkeeper – Aesch, Switzerland

§  Vogt play more than 120 minutes without allowing a goal in wins against Pikeville (Ky.) and Campbellsville (Ky.)

§  The freshman did not record a save in almost 32 minutes of action versus Pikeville

§  She registered four saves in a shutout against Campbellsville, only the second time this season the 14th-ranked Tigers were held scoreless

§  Vogt ranks 13th nationally, allowing 0.46 goals per match

§  This marks Vogt's first Mid-South player of the week honor this season and first of her career
