Columbia, Ky. – The #3 University of Tennessee Southern (13-0, 9-0 MSC) women's soccer scored seven unanswered goals against #11 Lindsey Wilson in a 7-2 win on Tuesday night.

In the 44th minute, Estelle Badoedana Ekada would sneak one by LWC keeper Maya Caon to slash the Blue Raider lead in half at the break. UTS would out shoot the LWC 15-7.

The second half was all Tennessee Southern. Keito Ido would take the Yuki Watari pass to the back of the net in the 48th minute. Annah Norman would contribute an unassisted score in the 53rd minute. Coach Will Austin commented on the dominate performance, "Our first half performance was disappointing: a huge save by Gabby then a big goal at the end of the first half by Estelle saved us. The second half we were exceptional. To score seven unanswered in an intimidating environment vs one of the perennial elite NAIA sides speaks volumes about out players togetherness, toughness and character."

UTS continues to put up impressive numbers and are represented on the NAIA individual leaders. Ido ranks 2nd in goals scored with 22, and Amang ranks 3rd with 21. Amang leads the NAIA in assists with 17. Amang also leads with 59 points on the season.

As a team the Firehawks lead in goals scored with 82 and lead in Goals per game with 6.31. They rank 1st in assists with 78 and lead in points with 242.
