Pulaski, Tenn. – The #3 University of Tennessee Southern (11-0, 7-0 MSC) women's soccer team posted their fifth clean sheet of the week on senior day with a 5-0 win over Georgetown.

NAIA Player of the Week Adisa Amang got the Firehawks on the board in the 20th minute from the assist of Lily Fisk. The Firehawks would hold a 11-2 shot advantage at the half. Keeper Brooke Shavers recorded two saves.

In the second half, would blow the game open with four goals. Mackenzie Stroebel would fire a brace from help of Keido Ido and Yuki Watari. Watari would later score from the boot of Ido, and Ido would find the net for the assist of Jessica Glassman. UTS would outshoot Georgetown 23-2. Gabby Kennedy would ensure the clean sheet for the Firehawks.

It was senior night honoring eight seniors: Mackenzie Stroebel, Lily Fisk, Izabelle Vazquez, Kaylee Berryman, Brooke Shavers, Jordan Brady, Gabby Kennedy and Gabby Forsythe.

Coach Will Austin commented on the seniors accomplishments, "I am extremely proud of our eight seniors. They have been conference champions in two of the nations toughest conferences, been nationally ranked in the top five for most of their careers as well as excelling in the classroom: leading us to a 3.41 team GPA. All the seniors played excellently tonight capped off with a senior night double for Stroebs!"

UTS continues to put up impressive numbers and are represented on the NAIA individual leaders. Amang ranks tied for 1st in goals scored with 20, and Ido ranks 4th with 18. Amang leads the NAIA in assists with 17. Amang also leads with 57 points on the season.

As a team the Firehawks are 2nd in goals scored with 70 and lead in Goals per game with 6.36. They rank 1st in assists with 68 and 2nd in points with 208.

Tonights win gave Coach Austin his 99th career win.
