Amang Wins Second Consecutive MSC POW Honor

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tennessee Southern's Adisa Amang and Lindsey Wilson's Maya Caon were voted the Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Players of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

MSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Adisa Amang – Tennessee Southern – Sr. – Forward – Kumba, Cameroon

  • Amang posted six goals and four assists in two wins for the Firehawks
  • She netted four goals with two assists in a road victory at Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.)
  • The senior added two goals and two assists versus Bethel (Tenn.)
  • Amang recorded her second player of the week honor this season and fourth of her career

MSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Maya Caon – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Fr. – Goalkeeper – Loria, Italy

  • Caon registered a pair of wins in net, both in overtime, for the Blue Raiders at Life (Ga.) and Cumberlands (Ky.)
  • The freshman allowed one goal and made eight saves in a 2-1 victory at Life
  • She posted five saves in another 2-1 triumph at sixth-ranked Cumberlands
  • This marks Caon's second player of the week honor this season and second of her career
