UTS lit up the scoreboard early and often in the first half. In the fifth minute, Isabelle Vazquez tickled the nylon with a well-placed header on the assist by Suzuho Yamazsaki. Lily Fisk scored from 10 yards out from the helper by Mackenzie Stroebel in the 19th minute. Fisk would connect with a breaking Adisa Amang for her first goal of the match in the 20th minute. The Firehawks would lead in shots 8-6 at the break.

Amang beat the keeper in the 75th minute off the cross from Fisk. MACU would get on the board on a successful Kelsey Henry PK in the 76th minute. Amang would complete the hat trick in the 85th minute on the assist from Estelle Badoedana Ekada to secure the 5-1 victory. Gabby Kennedy shut down the Evangels in the first half knocking down five shots. Brooke Shavers had three saves allowing only the PK goal. UTS outshot their opponents 19-11.

Coach Will Austin was ecstatic with the team's performance today. "I am proud of our team for fighting through a lot of adversity this week. We have been missing some players, and the whole squad stepped up today. It was great to get quality minutes for everyone today. Adisa had a quality hat trick. Lily had two marvelous assists from the left back."
