BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – UT Southern's Estelle Badoedana Ekada have been named Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Ekada earned MSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week her first conference player of the week honor of the season and the second of her career, after a hat trick in a 4-3 win over No. 11-ranked Indiana Wesleyan in the FireHawks' season opener. In addition to her three goals, Ekada added an assist. Ekada scored in the third, 36th, and 76th minutes -- the final goal breaking a 3-3 tie.

The FireHawks are back in action against former Southern States Athletic Conference opponent Faulkner University on Monday night at 7pm.
