Firehawks Secure a Third Place Finish
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern women's golf continued its strong fall play with a third-place finish in the Music City Invitational held at Twelve Stones Golf Club.
Cumberland led the field with a score of 936 (+72), while Rene Crooks, of Pikeville, captured the top podium spot with a 227 (+11) scorecard.
Iona Pollitt led the Firehawk effort firing rounds of 78, 81, and 75. UTS paced the field after round one and began day two in the fourth position and improved one spot turning in a 959 (+95).
