McKENZIE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern women's basketball dropped their fifth loss of the season in a 71-52 result with Bethel on Thursday.
Janiyha Riley led the Firehawks with 15 points.
The Firehawks held the lead at the half 38-35 and trailed after three 50-55. The final quarter would be brutal for UTS. The Firehawks would go 0-12 from the floor with their only points coming from the free-throw line.
UTS would shoot 19 of 60 for 32% from the field. There would be two lead changes and two ties.
