HENDERSON, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern softball team fell just short in game three of the series 2-1 and dropped game four 14-4 on Saturday.
GAME THREE
- UTS had one hit. Bree Brady had the lone home run.
- The Firehawks left one runner on base.
- Samantha King took the loss falling to 8-4
GAME TWO
- UTS had seven hits. Sydney Self had a pair of hits. Brady, King, Shelby Clifton, Hayley Barnes, and Chaney Dutton each added a hit.
- Brady launched a home run, and King had a double.
- The trio of Brady, King, and Parrott accounted for the three RBI
- The Firehawks left five on base.
- Samantha King took the loss falling to 8-5
NEXT UP
UTS will begin a six-game homestand at Royce Hughes Field for the final week of the regular season. On Tuesday, the Toppers will come calling to challenge the Firehawks. The first pitch is slated for 2 pm.
