Campbellsville, Ky. – The University of Tennessee Southern softball team opened their series with Campbellsville by dropping game one 9-1 and game two 12-3.
GAME ONE
- Sydney Self had a pair of base hits for the Firehawks
- UTS struck out three times.
- The Firehawks left one runner on base.
- Sam King had the lone RBI.
- Kamryn Murdock fell to 2-4 on the season. She allowed six earned runs on three hits.
GAME TWO
- UTS combined for three runs on nine hits. Chaney Dutton and Haley Barnes had two hits each.
- Self homered in game two.
- King threw 5.1 innings for UTS. She allowed seven earned runs on 10 hits. King dropped her record to 3-2.
