MSC Softball Pitcher of the Week

Morgan Crawford - Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – Sr. – Pitcher

• Crawford went 2-0 and did not allow a run in 11-2/3 innings.
• She pitched a complete-game allowing just two hits while walking one and striking out six in the series opener against Pikeville (Ky.).
• In the final game of the series, Crawford pitched 4-2/3 innings allowing three hits, one walk and recording six strikeouts.
• Crawford earns weekly honors for the first time this season and in her career.

MSC Softball Player of the Week

Samantha King – Tennessee Southern – Sr. – Outfielder/Pitcher - Chapel Hill, Tenn.

• King batted .542 (13-of-24) in eight games last week.
• She recorded multiple hits in four of the eight games.
• King drove in 17 runs and had three home runs.
• She had four games where she drove in multiple runs including back-to-back games with four RBIs.
• King posted a slugging percentage of 1.083
• She earns weekly honors for the first time this season and in her career.
