Korir Wins Individual Title, Firehawks Pace Field in Warhawk Invitational
OAKVILLE, Ala. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's cross country squad finished atop the podium in the Warhawk Invitational on Friday.
UT Southern paced all teams with 37 points and finished in a time of 2:15:09, while Titus Korir, from UT Southern, captured the top podium spot with a 16:19 8k time.
Korir led the Firehawk effort earning a 1st-place finish in 26:10.
The rest of the Tennessee Southern scorers finished taking places third, ninth, 11, and 13. Matthew Andrea landed a time of 26:34, while JJ Lincoln ran at 27:20. Cody Hill crossed the line at 27:25, with Koen Ploeckelman was 13 seconds behind at 27:38.
