Firehawks Finish Fourth in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's cross country squad battled some tough NCAA DII teams finishing fourth in the Argonaut Invitational today held on the campus of the University of West Florida.

Ouachita Baptist paced all teams with 31 points and finished in a time of 2:18:50, while Zach Fenton from UWF captured the top podium spot with a 26:19 marker.

Sophomore Titus Korir led the Firehawk effort earning an 8th-place finish in 27:58. UTS ended the race in 2:26:24 and with 92 points.

The rest of the Tennessee Southern scorers finished taking places 20, 23, 32, and 34. Sophomore Zach Shepard landed a time of 28:48, while freshman JJ Lincoln ran at 29:14. Freshman Matthew Andrea crossed the line at 30:06, with sophomore Raleigh Stamps just nine seconds behind at 30:15.
