CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of Tennessee Southern track and field squads competed in UWG Legends Track Meet on Friday and Saturday. The Firehawks battled some tough NCAA and NAIA programs and earned some podium finishes over the weekend.

Matthew Andrea finished first in the 1500 meters in a time of 4:04.31. Andrea also finished 11^th in the 500 meters. JJ Lincoln took third place in the 5000 m as well. Jacob Sanchez checked in second place in the Javelin with 50.47 meters.
