MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of Tennessee Southern track and field squads competed in Falcon Classic, the programs first meet, on Friday and Saturday. The Firehawks turns some heads with many great performances over the weekend.

Silas Hatton and Thomas Mussman finished in the top 35 in the 100-meter run. Hatton ran a 11.66 while Mussman clocked in at 11.79. In the 400-meter race, Jacob Sanchez and Tanner Meloon finished 26^th and 27^th respectively. Sanchez ran a 59.27 and Meloon was right behind at 59.97. Dakota Sheppard and JJ Lincoln notched top 20 finishes in the 800-meters. Matthew Andrea set a 21^st place time for the 1500-meters at 4:10.08.

In field events, Jacob Sanchez finished seventh with a 48.17 mark.
