PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern Head Coach Justin Watson released the 2024 inaugural outdoor track and field schedule on Wednesday. UT Southern has five meets and one exhibition indoor meet on the docket for this spring. The team will specialize in distance and mid-distance events, with limited field events and sprints as well.

The Firehawks get started with an indoor exhibition at Sewanee on February 17^th. The season opening meet will take place in Montevallo, Ala., on March 15^th and 16^th in the Falcon Classic. The following week, the squad will travel to Murray, Ky., for the Margaret Simmons Invite on March 22^nd and 23^rd. The next event will be on March 29^th and 30^th in Bowling Green, Ky., when the Firehawks compete in the Hilltoppers Relays.

The final pair of events will be in April. First, UTS will travel to Carrollton, Ga., to battle in the UWG Legends Track Meet on the 5^th and 6^th. On 22^nd and 23^rd, the Firehawks will compete for a Southern States Championship in Gulf Shores, Ala.
