Firehawks Break Records in SUN Conference Championships
COLUMBUS, Ga. – The University of Tennessee Southern swimming teams competed in the SUN Conference championships over the weekend. The men finished ninth, and the women finished eighth. UT Southern set 14 new program records in the most difficult and competitive swimming conference in the NAIA.
Coach Trevor Trimpe was ecstatic about the squad's performances. "I'm super proud of the way we competed against the fastest swimmers in the NAIA. We made huge strides as a team, and although we didn't score as many team points as we would have liked, we had some incredible individual and relay performances!
