PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's soccer squad scored in both halves to hand the Runnin' Eagles their third SSAC loss in a 2-1 result on Thursday.

UT Southern (7-3-1, 2-2-1) took the first half lead in the final five minutes of the opening stanza. Louise Alexandre-Merabli would intersept a Life pass and put the Firehawks in front 1-nil. The Runnin' Eagles led in shots at the half 6-5.

Four minutes later in the match, Rostand Essomba would catch a breaking Manuel Flores who scored the game winner. Life would lead in shots 18-10 and would lead in shots on goal 9-5.
