WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's soccer team fell just short in a 1-nil loss to #13 Cumberlands on Wednesday, October 5.
Both squads would come up empty after the first 45 minutes. UC would lead in shots 4-3.
In the second half, the Patriots would net the game-winner on a cross that floated into the net in the 70th minute. The Patriots would outshoot the Firehawks 12-5 and would lead shots-on-goal 5-1.
Ajay Murray took the loss. Murray would corral a pair of shots allowing a goal.
