McKENZIE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's soccer team dropped its second decision of the season to the Bethel Wildcats 2-nil on Wednesday, September 28.
In the opening half, both teams would have some great chances but could not take advantage leaving the score level at nil-nil. BU would lead in shots 5-2.
In the second half, the Wildcats could be awarded a PK and convert the chance to lead 1-nil in the 46th minute. BU would add another goal later to take the match 2-nil. The Wildcats would outshoot the Firehawks 10-7 and would lead shots-on-goal 7-6.
Ajay Murray recorded five saves on seven chances allowing a pair of goals. He fell to 7-2 on the season between the sticks.

The Firehawks will return to Grissom Pitch for to take on Freed-Hardeman on Saturday, October 1st at 4:00 pm. Saturday will also be Homecoming at UTS. Freed fell to Cumberland this evening 3-nil.
