MONTGOMERY, Ala. – UT Southern swept the SSAC M&W Golfer of the Week honors, with Shane Lillis being named SSAC Men's Golfer of the Week and Iona Pollitt being named SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

The awards are based on performance for the week of Nov. 6-12. 

Shane Lillis (UT Southern – SR – Cooraclare, Ireland)

·      This is his first-career weekly honor

·      Lillis competed in the 2023 Firestorm Fall Invite

·      He shot +6 222 (72, 76, 74)

Iona Pollitt (UT Southern – SO – San Fulgencio, Spain)

·      This is her second-career weekly honor

·      Pollitt finished third at the 2023 Firestorm Fall Invite

·      She shot one-under 143 (70, 73) to lead her team to a runner-up finish
