OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's golf squad occupied the second position after the first round, but took home a third-place finish in the the Atomic City Classic hosted by Roane State Community College on Tuesday. Results were not made available until late Thursday afternoon.

Roane State CC paced the field with a pair of rounds of 288 and 297, while Tzu-Wei Huang, from Virginia-Wise, captured the top podium spot with rounds of 74 and 68 (-2).

Angelo Bidart and Shane Lillis were the top UT Southern finishers in fifth position. Bidart carded rounds of 74 and 73 (+3), Lillis turned in scores of 71, and 76 (+3).
