ATHENS, Ala. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's golf squad finished 1st in the Firehawk Invitational at Canebrake Club on Tuesday. UT Southern B squad finished 7^th in the field of nine.

The Firehawks paced the field with an opening round 288 and a final round of 299, while Jacob Wilson, from UT Southern, captured the top podium spot with rounds of 71 and 70 (-3).

Ethan Lunsford led the field after the first round with a tournament low score of 68. Lunsford finished 5th.
