Firehawks Finish Seventh in Spring Bulldog Bash

ATHENS, Ala. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's golf battled some tough NCAA DII squads in a seventh-place finish in the Spring Bulldog Bash hosted by Union University on Tuesday. UTS held the eighth-place spot after the opening round.

Shorter University led the field with a score of 846 (-18), while Jean Loui du Plessis, of Shorter, took the top podium spot with a 207 (-9) scorecard.

Jacob Wilson led the Firehawk effort firing rounds of 72 and a pair of 70s. UTS began the final round with a score of 589 (+13).
