Firehawks Pace the Field in FHU Spring Invitational
KILLEN, Ala. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's golf carded a pair of great rounds to win the FHU Spring Invitational hosted by Freed-Hardeman University on Tuesday. UTS led day one action with a team score of 295 and sealed the win with a final round of 306 finishing seven strokes ahead of Blue Mountain Christian.
The Firehawks led the field with a score of 601 (+25), while Patrick O'Conner, of BMCC, took the top podium spot with a 146 (+2) scorecard.
Gary Glassman led the Firehawk effort firing rounds of 73 and 74. UTS began day two a top of the leaderboard and held their ground turning in a 601 (+25).
