Lillis Paces the East Tennessee Collegiate, Firehawks Finish Second
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's golf opened its season on a high note with a strong runner-up finish in the East Tennessee Collegiate held at Johnson City Country Club.
Milligan University led the field with a 578 (+2) score, while Shane Lillis, of Tennessee Southern, captured the top podium spot with a 139 (-5) scorecard.
Lillis led the Firehawk effort firing rounds of 67 and 72. UTS began day two in the second position and held their ground turning in a 584 (+8).
