BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's bowling squad began MSC championship play with the singles event at Southern Lanes on Thursday. The format was four games of qualifying followed by a top-eight match play bracket.

Hayden Stippich fired four games over 200 to secure the second seed. Fellow southpaw Ian Fitzpatrick checked into the third spot at +55. Kevin Brown occupied the sixth seed at +35, and Dylan Moore took the seventh seed at +31.
