Sivley Named to SSAC Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2024 Barnes & Noble College Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Ezra McKenna of Mobile (Ala.) was named 2024 Barnes & Noble College Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year after posting a 3.85 GPA as a junior Finance major. On the court, he averaged 18 points and 12.2 rebounds per game, while earning SSAC Player of the Year and Second-Team NAIA All-America honors.

Additional Notes
· To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
· Graduate students are not eligible, and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
· McKenna's 3.85 GPA leads the way, while Garcia (3.71) and Moye (3.64) are right behind
· Ward and Talley joined McKenna as First-Team All-Conference selections
