MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team have won nine straight games with an 81-74 win over Faulkner. on Tuesday. Four Firehawks scored in double figures in the victory. Adarion Hudson led the Firehawks with 21 points. Koby Isacc added 13 points and four boards. Tad Sivley pitched in 11 points and nine boards. Kendall Wright sank 10 points and nine rebounds.

UT Southern (13-2, 7-0) shot 50 percent, 13 of 26 from the field in first half. Hudson ignited the Firehawk offense scoring 13 of his 21 during the opening 20 minutes. Faulkner (8-7, 3-1) closely flowed the Firehawks shooting 52 percent, 13 of 25. UT Southern led 39-38 at the Disco Duck halftime break.

In the final half, UTS would outshoot the home squad 50 percent to 42 percent in the final period. Isacc and Sivley each had eight in the half leading the Firehawks out of the Gump with a win.

NEXT UP

UT Southern will return to the road, traveling to West Point, Ga., on Saturday, January 6^th, to battle Point. The Firehawks and Skyhawks will tip-off at 2:30 p.m.
