Hudson and Brown Post Double-Doubles, Firehawks Upset No. 10 Thomas More

PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball went 2-0 on the week in MSC play. The Firehawks dazzled the home crowd in an 80-74 upset of #10 Thomas More on Saturday.

CJ Greer led all scorers with a career-high 22 points. Kavion Hancock pitched in 20. Adarion Hudson posted 15 points and 10 boards, and Brady Brown scored 13 points and ripped down 10 boards. Hudson also was a pair of assists shy of a triple-double.

Both squads would trade the lead back and forth with The Saints holding a three-point advantage after the first half. UTS would jump out to lead early in the final half. TMU would claw back in the see-saw battle. With under seven minutes left in a 58-58 game, UTS, powered by a Greer triple, retook the lead and would hang on to send the Saints to confession.

UTS would shoot 31 of 60 for 52% from the field. There would be 11 lead changes and four ties.
