Hudson, Greer, and Wright Score in Double Figures, Wildcats Outshoot Firehawks

McKENZIE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball dropped their third loss of the season in a 70-60 result with Bethel on Thursday.

Adarion Hudson led the Firehawks with 15 points. Hudson is now just 11 points behind RedHawk great Kirk Newnham who currently is the program's all-time scoring leader. CJ Greer added 12 and Kendall Wright threw in 10.

The Firehawks trailed at the half 33-29. The Wildcats would go 10-25 from the floor denying UTS of the road win.

UTS would shoot 23 of 62 for 37% from the field. There would be 16 lead changes and five ties.

NEXT UP

The Firehawks will return home to host Freed-Hardeman on Saturday, December 10th. Tip-off is slated for 3:00 p.m.
