Caldwell, Idaho – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team fell behind early and couldn't overcome a 15-point deficit at the half to close their season out with a 90-67 loss to Ottawa (Ariz.).

  • UTS pulled down 31 rebounds, eight less than the Spirit.

SEASON REVIEW

UTS finished the season 22-11, giving Coach Dugan Lyne his third consecutive winning season. Lyne after four years as the head mentor is 65-52.

Adarion Hudson penned his name in the Firehawk record book. Hudson's achievements are:

  • Third in career points with 1,176
  • Became the fourth member of the 1,000 point club.
  • All-time assist leader with 396.
  • Third in career steals with 176.

The Firehawks finished second in the regular-season standings of the toughest conference in the country.
