Pulaski, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team defeated Life University 70-63 on Monday.

"I thought we were solid tonight," said coach Dugan Lyne. "We didn't shoot the ball well, but our ball movement was great. Our half court defense was alot better than out last few games, and it shows in the result. This was a great overall team effort."

FIREHAWK FACTS

• Four Firehawks recorded 10 points or more. Kavion Hancock 15, Adarion Hudson 13, CJ Greer 12, Tad Sivley 10.
• UTS pulled down 29 rebounds, three less than the Eagles.
• The Firehawks would swipe nine steals, six more than LU.
