Firehawks Discharge Patriots, Hudson Joins 1,000 Point Club
Williamsburg, Ky.- The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team defeated Cumberlands 71-65 on Saturday.
"Great end to our long road trip!", added coach Dugan Lyne. "We battled a good team tonight, and our guys picked each other up and fought tooth and nail to grind out a win. Adarion was great. Six steals to go along with 22 points and nine boards. I'm so happy for him. There have been a lot of great players to come through MMC/UTS, and it is awesome to witness him etch his name in the record book with them."
FIREHAWK FACTS
- Three Firehawks recorded 10 points or more. Adarion Hudson 22, Kavion Hancock 13, Tad Sivley 10.
- UTS pulled down 28 rebounds, four boards short of the Patriots.

The Firehawks return to the CAC on Thursday, January 27th, as they host #10 Thomas More. UTS looks to avenge an 86-83 overtime loss. Tip-off against the Saints is set for 8 pm.
