Pulaski, Tenn.- The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team defeated Cumberland University 77-68 on Thursday.
"Cumberland is a great team, said Coach Dugan Lyne. "We knew what they were going to bring to the table. They are physical, and they have a couple of great scorers. We knew we had to be at the top of our game, and we defended our home court tonight. I am proud of our guys for their toughness and great teamwork."
