Pulaski, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball defeated Dalton State in a 65-56 on Saturday.
Tad Sivley led the Firehawks with 19 points, and Brady Brown added a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Firehawks led 36-27 at the break and held the Roadrunners scoreless for the first 5:50 of the second half.
"I thought we played great defensively tonight, said Coach Dugan Lyne. "We knew that they had some guys that could score the basketball, and we did a great job defending them. We were missing a couple of key players tonight, and our guys stepped up and performed on a high level tonight. Tad was great tonight, and Cam was Mr. Consistency."
