Livingston, Ala. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball took West Alabama to the wire in a 61-60 exhibition game on Tuesday.
Brady Brown led the Firehawks with 15 points, and Cam Welch popped in 13. The Firehawks mounted a 10-0 run with under two minutes to play to flash out in front of the Tigers 58-55. A late foul call would send WA to the free-throw line to lift them to the victory.
