Firehawks Hand Bears First Loss of the Season

Pulaski, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team knocked off previously unbeaten Pikeville 63-62 on Saturday.

"That was a heck of a win," commented Coach Dugan Lyne. "Our guys showed incredible awareness, toughness, and executed down the stretch. Pikeville is a really good and well coached team, and wee knew we needed to bring it tonight. I am really proud of the effort from Mo, he made some huge plays down the stretch. I can't say enough about our effort and toughness."
