Crestview Hills, Ky. – The Thomas More Saints squeaked by the University of Tennessee Southern Firehawks 86-83 in overtime tonight.

UTS led the Saints 37-36 at the break. The TMU would trade the lead with the Firehawks, and down the stretch trailed the Saints 67-59 with just under five minutes left in regulation. UTS would outscore the Saints 16-8 to send the game into extra minutes. UTS would have an 83-79 lead with less than two minutes to play, but TMU would charge back to win by three.

The Firehawks had four scorers in double figures. Kavion Hancock and Brady Brown both threw in 17 points. Adarion Hudson added 15 and Kendall Wright dropped 14. Ryan Batte had 36 for the Saints to lead all scorers.

The Firehawks will travel to Nashville, Tenn. on Tuesday, November 23rd to meet the Bulldogs of Fisk. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 pm.
