Clay Target Begins Title Defense Winning the ACUI Central Midwest Conference Championship

SPARTA, Ill. - The University of Tennessee Southern clay target squad opened up the season by showing out at the 2022 ACUI Central Midwest Conference Championships. Not only a successful weekend for the team as a whole but for many individual athletes as well. The team brought home the high overall title (HOA) with a score of 2170/2250 targets, narrowly beating second place, Hillsdale College by 5 targets at 2165/2250. The tournament took our top five scores in 6 disciplines: skeet, skeet doubles, trap, trap doubles, sporting clays, and super sporting. We are looking forward to our spring season and continuing the tradition of winning in February.
