YPSILANTI, Mich. - The University of Tennessee Southern cheer team pieced together a solid two days of action finishing eighth in the NAIA National Championship concluding on Saturday. The Firehawks took on 15 of the elite programs around the nation in the two-day event.

The Firehawks scored 85.37 for the weekend.
