Phoenix Rise Above Firehawks
PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern baseball team dropped game one of their weekend series to Cumberland 19-6.
GAME ONE
- UTS scored six runs on 11 hits. Lance Pope, Collin Huntley, Derrick Junker, and Drew Bailey each had a pair of hits. Brantley Holden, Michael Wurtz, and Will Clemons added a hit each.
- Bailey had a triple. Pope, Wurtz, D. Junker, and Clemons each had a two bagger.
- UTS drew two free passes while striking out 10 times.
- The Firehawks left seven on base.
- Logan Parrott took the loss falling to 2-4 on the year.

UTS will close out the regular season with senior day tomorrow with Cumberland. The action will begin at 1 pm.
