Lourdes
Pulaski, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern baseball team swept the first two games of their four-game series with Lourdes on Saturday. UTS took game one 5-4, and won game two 7-1.
"I thought our pitchers pitched well today, and Michael Wurtz had a big day at the plate for us," said Coach Mitch Hill. "We still have mental mistakes we have to clean up on our end but we battled in the first game and came away with the win with Noah Junker walking it off and the second game was Logan Parrott pitched well and gave our offense time to get things going and we produced enough runs to secure the win. We have to stay mentally focused and come right back tomorrow for two more wins."
